Vindhya Vishwanath, 17, is an author of three children books. She published her first book when she was 12. The themes of her books are drawn from her passion for nature and animals. With her extensive knowledge of animal habits and love for nature, she is able to create indelible imprint on children. She has a unique style of writing that captures deep imagination, humour and innocence of children. She is an avid blogger and a creative artist. Vindhya won the grand prize for creative writing at the 2015 Katha Utsav held at Delhi when she was in class 10 at the age of 15. Mulk Raj Anand (12 December 1905 – 28 September 2004) was an Indian writer in English, notable for his depiction of the lives of the poorer castes in traditional Indian society. One of the pioneers of Indo-Anglian fiction, he, together with R. K. Narayan, Ahmad Ali and Raja Rao, was one of the first India-based writers in English to gain an International readership.
