Norvy Paul completed his Master’s from the University of Pune and joined De Paul School of Social Work as an academician in 2004. His current research work is focused on displacement in India with particular interest on social and cultural capital, marginalization, human rights and community development. He has authored and edited five books on development-induced displacement, published several articles in various national and international journals, and presented papers at various forums related to social work and displacement. He was Guest Editor of ‘Artha’ journal published from Christ University, Bangalore, and in the editorial board of journals like Journal of Internal Displacement, International Journal of Social and Development Concerns, De Paul Journal of Scientific Research.
