Dr. Kanwalpreet is an Assistant Professor at D.A.V. College, Chandigarh. She teaches Political Science. She completed her Bachelors in English Literature. She has scores of articles to her credit in various newspapers, The Tribune, The Times of India, and The Hindustan Times. She has written over a hundred book reviews for The Tribune. Her first book ‘Looking back with a Twinkle’ is a biography of Oshima Zaranghez Samandari Raikhy, the founder of Aruna Asaf Ali Trust. It garnered a stupendous response. Kanwalpreet was honoured by the Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi for her book. She was also honoured by the Senior Citizens Chapter of Chandigarh where she was presented a memento by the Honourable Governor of Punjab, Mr. V. P.
