Sanjeev Raman

Commander Sanjeev Raman’s diverse background is the foundation of his work. Having worked in varied sectors, he believes that cutting the process complexities and empowering people is the key to success. After graduating in Metallurgical Engineering from NIT Surathkal, he started his career with the Indian Navy as a commissioned officer. He later completed his Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and his Post Graduation Diploma Program in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. During his 21 years of military career, he participated in three conflicts - UN Peace Keeping Mission in Somalia, Operation Parakaram (Attack on Indian Parliament), and Kargil war. The battlefield scenario taught him the importance of building trust, honesty of purpose, integrity and values. He took early retirement from the military and went on to work in the corporate sector for 8 years.
