Dr. Selim Reza

Dr. Selim Reza has eighteen years of rich experience in the bamboo sector. He earned his Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the Aligarh Muslim University, India, and a Doctorate in Sociology (Ph.D.) from the Institute of Social Sciences, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra. He started a career in bamboo development with the Tripura Bamboo and Cane Development Centre (TRIBAC), a community-based organization in 2003. He successfully managed the bamboo cluster development programme funded by Khadi and Village Industries Commission(KVIC) Government of India, and bamboo incense sticks value chains development in India funded by the Overseas Development Institute, International Development Research Centre, and International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation (INBAR).
