Richa Lakhera is an Indian journalist and bestselling crime-fiction author. Richa Lakhera works as Deputy Editor and anchor at NDTV. She has got recognition and awards for journalism, including Award for Excellence in Journalism by Indian Council for UN Relations (ICUNR). She has written three books: Hungry Gods (Rupa Publications, July 2018), Item Girl (Rupa Publications, 2014) and Garbage Beat (HarperCollins Publishers, 2013).Her 3rd book, Hungry Gods published by Rupa Publications , has got a lot of attention from both the media and the readers and is being adapted into screen production by prominent Bollywood film-maker and producer Sanjay Gupta of White Feather Films.
